Ascend’s Engineer Furnish & Install (FE&I) provides comprehensive design, engineering and installation services for Central Offices as well as the following networks:

• high-speed optics
• DWDM
• data/voice/video networks
• LAN/WAN

Complete inside plant cabling infrastructure services are available, including large-scale staging, pre-assembly and testing.  Field installations are performed by experts, with necessary security clearances.   In addition, a host of design, consulting and training services are available as customer needs warrant.

Engineering Services

Engineering Services focuses specifically on high-speed fiber optic systems (SONET OC-3 to OC-192 and SDH STM-3 to STM-12) installation, test and turn-up work for inter-exchange (long distance) providers.  Our experienced Engineering Services professionals also have expertise in UNIX platforms and Solaris operating systems, as well as in software quality assurance, network management applications and program management. Specifically, we provide the following network expertise:
